Information you choose to provide
Contact enquiries may include your name, email address, telephone number, message and journey requirements. Business-account enquiries may include organisation and travel details. Driver enquiries may include experience, licence status, vehicle availability and working preferences. We receive the information you choose to send, rather than everything you type into an unfinished form.
Please do not include payment-card details, identity documents, licence numbers or medical records in a website enquiry. Discuss any necessary accessibility arrangements with the team, sharing only what is needed to arrange a suitable journey.
How the website forms work
When you select ?Send enquiry?, the completed form is sent to our website server and passed to the hosting email service for delivery to contact@aataxibradford.co.uk. Your email address is included so the team can reply. Submitting an enquiry does not confirm a booking.
The form handler does not save message contents in a website database. Copies may be retained in the email systems used to deliver and receive the enquiry. For basic spam protection, the server temporarily stores submission counts associated with a hashed network address. These counters expire after approximately one hour. Hosting services may separately maintain technical logs.
Why information is used
Information sent to us is used to respond to your request, discuss journey or account requirements, consider driver enquiries and manage related correspondence. Where you ask us to arrange a service, processing necessary to take steps at your request before a contract, or to perform that contract, is the relevant basis. General correspondence and handling feedback involve our legitimate interests in answering requests and running the service. Records needed to meet a legal obligation are processed for that obligation.
Details marked as required in a form help us understand and answer the request. You can contact us directly instead. Without sufficient contact or journey information, we may be unable to respond or arrange the requested service. This website does not make automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects.
Bookings, apps and other providers
Online booking buttons take you to the AA Carz booking portal hosted by Autocab. Journey, account and payment information entered there is handled within that booking service, not this website’s enquiry form. Read the privacy information presented there before submitting details. App Store, Google Play and Google review links also lead to separate services.
Relevant enquiries may be handled by AA Carz staff and, when needed to arrange a journey, shared with the people providing the service. Email, hosting and booking providers may process information as part of delivering their services. Information may also need to be disclosed to professional advisers or authorities where legally necessary. Contact us for details relating to your particular enquiry or booking.
Cookies, maps and technical information
The current website code does not add advertising trackers or analytics cookies. The hosting service may receive technical request information such as your IP address, browser information and requested pages when serving the site.
The contact page includes an embedded Google Map. When the map loads, your browser connects to Google, which can receive technical information and may use cookies or similar technologies according to its settings and policies. See Google’s Privacy Policy. External booking and app services may use their own cookies; their notices apply when you visit them. Browser privacy settings can restrict third-party content.

Keeping information
Retention depends on the reason information was supplied: whether the enquiry remains active, whether it led to a booking or account, whether a complaint needs resolving and whether a legal record-keeping requirement applies. Contact us to ask about the retention of a particular record or to request deletion. If you contact us directly by email, your own provider also handles that message under its privacy terms.
Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, you can request access to your personal information, correction, deletion, restriction of use or a portable copy. Where processing relies on consent, you can withdraw that consent without affecting earlier lawful processing.
